Apartment for rent in Toronto at 30 Godstone Road. 30 Godstone Road is located in North York, one block east of Don Mills Road, just North of Sheppard Avenue. A short walk gives access to beautiful parks, shopping areas (including the newly renovated Fairview Mall) and public schools. Seneca College is just one short kilometre away. Access to public transportation, both buses and subways, is about a 2-minute walk and there is easy access to the 404/Don Valley Parkway and Hwy. 401.




IMPORTANT COVID-19 APARTMENT MAINTENANCE INFORMATION

We would like to thank you for choosing Homestead for your future home and look forward to welcoming you to our community. The situation regarding the COVID-19 global pandemic has put significant pressure on individuals, organizations and businesses alike. As a responsible property owner and member of the community, throughout this crisis, the health and safety of our residents and staff members has remained our utmost priority. We wanted to make you aware that on April 3rd the Government of Ontario issued an Emergency Order further defining Essential Workplaces in the Province of Ontario during the COVID-19 pandemic. While this Order is in effect, property management companies, which Homestead is classified as, are restricted to completing only essential maintenance and renovation work that is "strictly necessary" to "manage and maintain the safety, security, sanitation and essential operation" for residential building operations. This Emergency Order, which is being strictly enforced, has clearly defined limitations on the type and amount of work we are permitted to complete within our apartments.



At Homestead, we take pride in the high level of finished quality in our suites.  As outlined above however, due to the Emergency Order, province-wide restrictions have been imposed upon our organization which limits the type of work that can be completed at our properties. Consequently, your apartment may not be delivered at the same high level of finished quality we are known for. We assure you though that your apartment will be ready for your expected move-in date and that all basic apartment services and comforts will be fully in place.



Due to the aforementioned restrictions, we will unfortunately only be able to complete basic maintenance in your apartment upon turnover. This will include painting, steam cleaning of carpets (if applicable), any maintenance deemed essential for safety reasons, and a full enhanced clean of the apartment. This will not include refinishing of floors or flooring replacement, or any upgrades of unit finishes that are not deemed essential.



Please be assured that this is not our general approach. Following the lifting of the Emergency Order, any deficiencies outstanding in your suite will be scheduled and completed to the high level of quality that you will come to expect from Homestead. We ask for your patience during this difficult time, and will ask for your cooperation in the future when we coordinate our contractors and staff members to complete the remaining outstanding work in your occupied suite as expeditiously as possible. We look forward to working with you in this regard once the Emergency Order has been lifted.



Prior to your move-in, we will create a comprehensive deficiency list of outstanding items within your apartment. However, we request that you also take your own notes as well in the first days after occupying your new apartment so that we can be sure that nothing is missed.



Should you have any questions prior to your move-in, the on-site team at your building are ready to assist, therefore please direct any questions towards them. We appreciate your anticipated understanding during this difficult time and would like to thank you again for choosing Homestead as your housing provider.
